Please take a look at some past students and families I’ve helped in the past.
Working with Mr. Yupanqui was one of the best decisions our family made during my daughter’s college search journey. From the very beginning, we felt supported, guided, and genuinely cared for. Their professionalism, expertise, and dedication transformed what can often be an overwhelming process into a clear, organized, and exciting experience.
Mr. Yupanqui not only helped my daughter identify universities that truly matched her goals, personality, and aspirations, but also gave her confidence throughout every step of the process. The guidance was strategic, personalized, and incredibly thoughtful. Every recommendation felt intentional and tailored specifically to her future.
As a parents, we are deeply grateful for the patience, commitment, and excellence he brought to this journey. I wholeheartedly recommend his services to any family looking for honest, knowledgeable, and highly personalized support in navigating the college search process. Their passion for helping students succeed is evident in everything he does.

"Mr. Yupanqui was a very influential mentor throughout my 4 years of high school, and without him, I would not be where I am today. Through lots of research, he helped me create a well-rounded list of universities that suited my needs at the time. Along the way, he also connected me with countless opportunities and programs, and not only prepared me for college but also strengthened my college applications. Mr. Yupanqui made sure my application was as strong as it could be and guided me every step of the way, particularly with my essays, and I am extremely grateful for all his help. "

“Mr. Yupanqui helped my eldest son find his college and opportunities for scholarships over four years ago, and he has just graduated after studying Business Administration. He has also helped my second son find help through scholarship search and he will study at George Mason University this August. ”

"I had Mr. Yupanqui as my English and College Access teacher. I had the opportunity to be one of Mr. Yupanqui’s students for three years. Throughout those three years, he was able to watch me grow as a student, and when it came time to start applying for college, he was very helpful and caring. Every class, he would do check-ups and would give us many opportunities to strengthen our college resume/application. He would also be giving us a lot of scholarships to apply to (to make college as affordable as possible). As someone coming from a low-income family, my family and I really appreciated it because of all the scholarships, I was able to go to school without taking out loans."

"Mr. Yupanqui was an amazing help during my college application process! He also helped us grow as students and watched our progress throughout the years. As mentioned, he was a tremendous help during my college application process: helping us with Common App, how to structure the college essay, and other help. When I was writing my college essay, he would do continuous check-ups and revisions on how I can improve my essay and make it stronger. As a first-gen student, as well as being an only child, the college application process seemed intimidating and overwhelming, but with Mr. Y’s help, I came to understand the application process a lot better!"

"Mr. Y has helped me greatly with improving my English skills and learning skills in general. He has supported me through my years in my College Access class, and by always reaching out. I couldn’t name any other teacher more helpful than Mr. Y who has prepared me for college life and basic life knowledge."
